Tuesday FF and I rented a car and drove to San Antonio, TX to see the Alamo-- It was not very impressive and rather small. The actual fort that was there back in the day (when we are supposed to "remember" it's significance in American History) is not even in existence anymore! The only thing that remains from that day is the church. Oh well-- we had a good time in San Antonio anyways...
We went to the mall and shopped around. We bought discount books and we drank iced coffees.
We ate dinner at this cool place called "Sam's" and then drove back home.
Wednesday, once again, we rode our bikes a million miles to S. Austin and ate lunch at a pizza place. We had iced coffees once again and ate cookies the shape of Texas.
We went to Barton Springs once again to people watch and met the "Man in Charge"... he was very in charge of everything there-- cleaning up trash, reuniting children with the parents after the strong current had swept them away, and keeping all the dogs from getting into fights over the squishy fetch ball. Not to mention welcoming all the newcomers to the spring.
Last night we went to the best 80s cover band ever! The Spazmatics dressed up like nerds and crash test dummies and sang their hearts out while we babies from the 80s jammed out. We were the triumvirate of good things that came out of the 80s. (well, us and the music of course)
Today (thursday) we went to Hippie Hallow where people swam o-naturale. It was quite an experience and rather entertaining. (It was a lake, we like lakes)

Aims, I sure hope Faith's car is ready to go and you guys can get on with your trip. Please tell Matt I said "Thanks" one more time.
My question is..."At the lake, how "O Naturale" did YOU swim????" Mom
Obviously, Mike isn't doing the writing here, I'm using his computer, and my extreme technological know-how doesn't permit me to sign on myself!!! Love you, Mom
